The ghettoes on the other hand represented a setting that would afterwards offer one of the most important and relevant components of the American culture: the music and religious atmosphere that was classic for the black community. As a means of resisting the struggle against segregation and inequality, many communities found music since the connection that united every black people in their struggling. The soul music as a result became a means of articulating both sadness and happiness, hope and despair among the black communities. Even though this kind of practices was seen in the South as well, once the Wonderful Migration started out, the dark-colored people exported their core values and transmitted these to the communities they moved into in contact with. This could eventually cause an acknowledgement of this sort of cultural factors, and later they can become a hallmark for the American tradition. Similarly, the religious characteristics of the dark community affected the light communities and the overall American heritage since it proved the value and requirement of a religious interconnection between the people of a community in times of have difficulties. The same idea would be evoked by Matn Luther Ruler in his quite a few speeches in relation to the oneness of the dark-colored community as well as its importance to get the American culture.

General, it can be figured the reasons for the Great Migration lie inside the overall background of the celebration. The internal elements, such as the decline in the need for rural work, the rapid industrialization of the country as a whole, combined with the natural catastrophes that happened during this time, displayed the enthusiastic argument for the sensation. While talking about the consequences in the migration, this cannot be exactly stated whether or not they represented a complete step forward for the black population or not. However, the black migration north represented a vital event in the shaping of the culture in the U. S.
