As an educator in different school you may have experienced a diverse range of students; from girls and boys, young adults, to immigrants starting a new your life. In every single classroom you will encounter and still encounter a different mix of student demographics. To be an effective mentor you learn to adapt the curriculum and teaching strategies to each unique situation. In most teaching experiences the students will be the usually the methods adapting to the surroundings, in my current teaching position it has been personally that has were required to adapt to the surroundings. Teaching within a different region brings totally new experiences and places you outside of the comfort zone.

It is not necessarily just establishing to a new curriculum and surrounding, but adapting to a new tradition, and in my personal case a religion that is very present in my personal classroom. Though my students do not differ from the different students in the classroom, does not make my classroom any significantly less diverse. There is certainly still an extensive range of experience and viewpoints brought to the classroom that offers a powerful resource for everyone to learn morein other ways, in new environments, and with different persons.

Every single person with this enormously various and changing system has the strength to serve as an invaluable resource for all others, students, teachers and the community all together (Cummins, Brown & Sayer, 2007). My second action is always to vary my own instructional techniques. Instead of getting to the routine to do routines I have to vary my own teaching strategies and provide my students which has a greater possibility to learn. Rather than differentiating a few ways I wish to have a variety of ways that enables different learning styles.

We also wish my learners to understand tips on how to succeed. I have to provide my own students with a success qualifying criterion so they understand how I will be grading their function. The broad range of encounter and points of views brought to college by culturally, linguistically, and ethnically varied students offer a powerful resource for everyone to learn more in different techniques, in fresh environments, and with different types of people (Epstein & Sheldon, 2007).
