Nozick’s theory of justice was presented in his book Anarchy, State, and Utopia (chapter 7) which is called the entitlement theory. There, Nozick writes

The whole principle of distributive rights would claim simply that the distribution is merely if everyone is entitled to the holdings they possess beneath the distribution (Nozick, Anarchy, Condition, and Thinking about 151).

Nozick says the theory of Rawls is an end-result theory, while his own theory involves identifying when the division of goods and rights is merely.
